5 9 p.m.
Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion, 1st floor

BrooklyNites features live jazz performances and gallery talks at the Brooklyn Museum. In conjunction with the opening of the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art and its inaugural exhibitions, Global Feminisms and Pharaohs, Queens, and Goddesses, the month of June highlights women jazz vocalists. Renowned pianist Geri Allen headlines the event. WBGO's Rhonda Hamilton hosts.

And speaking of Jazz, don't forget to see James Knox's photo exhibit, Capturing the Moment, opening June 16th.
