Dual Booting On A MacIntel Official! Is This Real?!
I thought this was a joke after reading The Unofficial Mac Blog (TUAW) while checking my email.
More and more people are buying and loving Macs. To make this choice simply irresistible, Apple will include technology in the next major release of Mac OS X, Leopard, that lets you install and run the Windows XP operating system on your Mac. Called Boot Camp (for now), you can download a public beta today.
I'm gonna need a report from a certain someone inorder to sort this out. This creates a certain Wow Factor. And I guess I mos def will be getting a new Mac in a couple of weeks.

While I see the need for some, I ain't in that camp. I have absolutely no intention, nor need to use Microsloth on my Mac. A former bf bought me Office, which I rarely use thanks to TextEdit Plus. I do sympathize with those that can't escape the Windows word.
Much better commentary can be found elsewhere that shows this isn't a shot across MS's bow, but other computer hardware makers (i.e. Sony, Hp, etc.) may have to worry. So Mac fanboys should stop jumping up and down with glee if they have the misguided notion that this move hurts Ms. Not when you have to buy a legal copy of Windows XP at more than double the regular price!
