FYI: GMAD's PULSE Magazine Needs Interns

PULSE Magazine, the quarterly magazine published by Gay Men of African Descent is being re-formatted and re-launched for a Memorial Day Week-End Launch.

PULSE Magazine will be the "Heartbeat of Black Gay America" along with special sections dedicated to the Lesbian and Trans Community.

I am seeking (2) interns to assist the Editor-In-Chief here at the Gay Men of African Descent office here in New York City.

Editor-In-Chief Interns will consist of the following...

-Research Material
-Be responsible and maintain the Source page
-Be Computer Literate
-Run Errands
-Oversee/attend photo shoots, if schedule permits
-Contact modeling agencies to book models
-Proofread
-Be able to work flexible hours

It is preferred that the intern be a Black Gay Male or Lesbian Female who is a Journalism major and/or one who possesses a journalism background.

At present this is a non-paying internship but you will be compensated for travel along with the experience of working for a magazine.
