I Hate the IRS!!
Every year I owe! Every got-damm year!! I thought I finally had two refunds headed my way. No such luck. I owe the feds $29 and NYS/NYC owes me $35. So I get a grand total of $6 back. In the wise words of Derrick "such wasted talent" Coleman: Whoop-de-damn-dooo!

Well.... That's *maybe* a movie ticket... as long as it's not a movie in Manhattan!
Jimi: you're right. Gotta go to the Court St. Loews in downtown Brooklyn. And it has to be the first show of the day, weekday.
*sigh*
At least it's going to make it pretty easy to see
Kill Bill, Vol. 2 early next week.
I usually ended having to pay the state but this I am getting refunds from state and federal. Woohoo!!! No Ronn, I am not rubbing it in. I am just happy because we both waited til the 11th hour to do our taxes...lol
At least you didn't owe $1800 like I did.
nOva: So got-damm true!
James: You ain't right! It is rubbing it in. But it's OK, you can always rub it in. ;-)
don: WTF!?! I feel for ya' bruh.
ronn: Since my job definition is a "sub contractor", a big chunk of it is payroll tax, and I'm supposed to pay it quarterly, except this summer I had doctor and hospital bills that blew that away. At least I can still afford my broadband connection!
I owe too, but hey, you can always take that money and buy a pack of chicken. I'm jus' sayin. (Don't you hate Southern folk? ;)
don: that explains it. A couple years ago I thought I was clever when a p/t employer paid me by personal check. Stupid me looked at it as off the books/under the table pay. At the last minute I was asked for SS# and other info to classify me as a 1099. I wound up owing, but not that much. Can't you claim some of the medical costs?
ej: I don't hate Southern folk... just you! LOL It's OK. When's your next visit? ;-)
Yeesh. All that work for six bucks? Yeah, I owe the state too. Which sucks, because I was thinking I was going to get a nice fat refund this year, too. Damn...
Join the club. I was sooo damm disappointed. I would have been happy get back just $1 from both. It will happen next year, I promise you.
My job title is teacher which some people consider a noble profession, well not the federal government I end up oweing them almost $500 a year, and I didn't even vote for that mother F*@#er! I hope he spends my tax payment on pretzels and chokes on em!
