Laugh or Cry?

I'm feeling Don of Nite Crawler fame just about now:

What's love got to do with it

Gay marriage will not be legal until I can drive down to Reno and get married by a Diana Ross impersonator to the first man I get drunk with and write the damn thing off on my joint tax return.

He's not the only feeling burnt out about the Marriage Equality movement.

i'm definitely burnt out on it. Posted by: Lashundra on March 9, 2004 04:25 PM
Lashundra: aren't we all. Every time I get ready to write an in-depth, soul-searching post on the subject, something else pops up that pisses me off or makes me think negatively. I am so impatient to see what finally happens in Mass. come May 17th. Hopefully, it will lead to many positive things in the States, and esp. NYC. I don't really want to leave my home to gain marriage equality, but I'm willing to do just that. Posted by: ronn on March 9, 2004 09:29 PM
Now *that* is a great line. Had a good chuckle with that one. :-) Posted by: PatCH on March 9, 2004 09:57 PM
PatCH: sadly, some gays and lesbians will make spectacles of themselves. I say...BRING.IT.ON! LOL Posted by: ronn on March 10, 2004 12:27 AM
ronn, come to portland. Our slogan: come for the mass weddings, stay for the high divorce rate. Posted by: don on March 10, 2004 10:54 PM
Don: Har! I'm fly over to Portland if I don't have a nervous breakdown before hitting Boston this May. Posted by: ronn on March 10, 2004 10:59 PM
