Here Comes the Sun = There Goes ronn

You know, I should stop making promises. I doubt I'll be posting anything else this week. I'm excited by new Apple software and hardware. It's going to be in the 80s and 90s for the next few days. My niece is graduating from elementary school and I'm going to go out and will enjoy life for a change.

Back whenever.

Wonder when the G5 will make it down to laptop form? Hope the battery technology will be improved to keep up with the processing power requirements by then. The new G5 looks sooo sexy... Posted by: PatCH on June 26, 2003 11:11 PM
I'm thinking Winter 2004. The current laptops are selling well, but there's so much to work out. Esp. when it comes to battery life and heat emanating from the laptops. There are rumors of fuel cell powered iBooks coming about a year from now. That would be soooo exciting. Posted by: ronn on June 27, 2003 08:39 AM
new software/hardware?? oh sh!t!! Why come yall aint call me & tell me my niece was graduating man!? (like my a$$ wouldn't have forgotten the date! :} ) Posted by: RL on July 1, 2003 05:26 PM
Yo Lee, You ain't heard about the new ish from Apple?! I can't see myself paying for Panther after all that $$$ for Jaguar and than the 10.2 update (and don't forget $50 for the .Mac scheme which I'm liking less and less every week). I'll either stay with Jaguar and suffer without advancement, or (more likely) will wait till early '04 for hardware purchases that include Panther in full (if you buy a G5 in late August/early September, Panther won't be pre-installed). The graduation was thankfully short and drama-free. I thought you knew. I'll make sure to keep you informed about stuff like this in the future. Peace! Posted by: ronn on July 2, 2003 08:58 AM
